It’s always an honour and something special when we are invited to any events but this one is so special to us as this show has our friends of many years performing and involved with the production of this show, Situated on the Central Pier here in Blackpool. In its 12 year I have only just read that Nick Armitage has handed over the reigns and running of the show to Graeme who performs as Elvis Presley in the show. We would like to wish Nick all the best and good luck to Graeme but he doesn’t need it as it’s a fabulous show. Graeme invited Louise and I to the show and even provided us with fantastic seats so no pressure for my photography 🤣. I have to say before I discuss the show that this theatre is one of Blackpool’s gems it’s amazing and the acoustics and atmosphere when there is a show on is amazing. My review is heavily photo based. What I do like about these shows is they have different line ups each week and the opening night consisted of Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury and Elton John. All performances were outstanding, they all perform just like the originals and at times I honestly found it difficult to tell the difference absolutely brilliant performances from all 3 and they were accompanied on stage by the very attractive Rock Royalty Dancers.
It’s a very good show that’s on all season on various dates with different line ups each night. It’s a show that caters for the whole family including children. It also has a bar that you can enjoy before and after the show as well with very reasonable prices. Booking is essential if you want to get the best seats the link is just below
