The Blackpool Ghost Walks are starting this week, always very popular and something extra this year a Victorian Seance .
We met up with Stephen Mercer tonight, the weather in Blackpool can be unpredictable and tonight it was raining hard but that didn’t dampen the spirits… 😎
Stephen has the wonderful ability of reciting very interesting stories based on research and first hand accounts. He does it very well and has your full attention as he explains the ghostly going’s on , in the streets and in the famous buildings of Blackpool.
Blackpool Ghost Walks & “The Victorian Séance” Experience is now in its 13th year! Each year those attending will hear new tales at new locations and new experiences are added to keep them fresh and exciting, which is why many of our visitors return year after year to these walks. They take place during all major holiday periods, throughout the Illuminations and right up to Halloween (of course!). This year the tours begin at 7pm at the Tourist Information Centre, Festival House on The Promenade (next to The Beach House) FY1 1AP, last approximately 2-hours, finish at The Brew Room on Church Street and are family friendly.
Tickets for this year’s must attend tours are just £7.50 per person, which includes the “Victorian Séance” experience as the finale to the walks. They can be purchased in advance via http://www.BlackpoolGhostWalks.co.uk, via the Tourist Information Centre on The Promenade or from the Ghost Host on the evening of a walk.
