As most of the UK has been experiencing Inclement Weather , I have never seen such a sustained onslaught on the Fylde coast.
With gusts of winds of around 80/90mph we have had it rough..!
Lots of business have been affected with some having to close.
Today I ventured out and did a little Vlog Live on Facebook, but safely away from the sea rails and it was quite scary if I am being honest..
Huge waves crashing over the Bar Restaurant the Beach House, huge waves engulfing the Comedy Carpet in front of the Blackpool Tower quite remarkable scenes..
The Tram service had to be suspended until further notice for obvious reasons and most of Blackpool is in Lock down with only necessary or urgent trips out..I did help a sweet old lady that was being blown about to the Bus Stop and advised her to go home and have a cuppa..!
