The Gables Hotel Blackpool being demolished

This is nearly 8 years ago, but the Gables hotel in Blackpool was quite an Iconic hotel..

I photographed its sad demolition, I say sad because we really lost an iconic building that had stood the test of time for many years..!

Replaced by a Travel Lodge..is this progress or another building lost..?
