Slay Belles (Mon 02 Mar 2026)

Former 1980s sitcom star, Linda Godfrey, cast as their Wicked Queen, is desperately clinging to delusions of grandeur whilst her past remains threateningly close.

Linda’s long-suffering daughter, Cassie has reluctantly returned from New York, leaving behind her trusted friend and confidante, Rusty Cadillac, a dazzling Broadway drag Diva who Linda finds dangerously illuminating.

Whittaker’s World at Your Feet (Thu 5 Mar – Sun 8 Mar)

Whittaker’s World at Your Feet is full of variety for the whole family. Featuring Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Riverdance and Pointe. There is something for everyone. Children as young as 2yrs old to adults in their 80’s. They all enjoy performing.

Doin’ Fine Encore – Jason Donovan (Tue 10 Mar)

After the remarkable success of Jason Donovan’s Doin’ Fine 25 tour which saw him play to 40,000 people across the UK and Ireland, Jason returns to the stage in 2026 with Doin’ Fine Encore. Doin’ Fine Encore, is a spectacular celebration of his remarkable career in music, theatre, film and TV. This exciting tour will take fans on a journey through 35 years of hits on stage and screen via Jason’s energetic and unique live performance style.

Spice Girls – The Theatre Show (Thu 12 Mar)

The girls have put together a very special theatre show with a fun party vibe. They’ll be performing all your favourite Spice Girls hits with their superb backing band, impressive vocals, dance routines, and stunning, authentic costumes. Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham, AKA Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Posh formed THE SPICE GIRLS back in 1996.

Gianni Schicchi (or Where There’s a Will) (Tue 17 Mar)

OperaUpClose returns with a brilliantly subversive take on Puccini’s classic family farce, set to delight both opera lovers and curious newcomers alike. Award-winning PJ Harris directs a stellar cast of singers and players in a new English version by Hannah Kumari, re-orchestrated by Vahan Salorian. Puccini’s comic masterpiece comes roaring into the 21st Century, in a modern-day ‘whodunnit’, challenging a world where everyone is out for themselves.

Teechers (Fri 20 Mar – Sat 21 Mar)

New Year… same problems! It is the end of term and Godber’s hilarious comedy masterpiece has been reset for our post Covid times. Bristling with teenage swagger and outlandish imagination, Salty, Gail and Hobby use their B.Tech Performance exam to showcase their work.

What follows is a funny, fast-moving, hard-hitting account of life at Whitewall Academy as they play staff, students and site premises managers, including the new drama teacher, Ms Nixon, who has helped get them into drama and changed their lives. Recommended for ages 12+

Hamlet by The RSC (Tue 24 Mar – Sat 28 Mar)

Fresh from its run in Stratford-upon-Avon, this ‘scintillating new staging’ (Financial Times) of Shakespeare’s famous revenge drama visits Blackpool Grand as part of a major national tour. Hamlet’s mother has married his uncle, and at a less than decent interval since the death of his father. As he pulls at the threads of his not-so-happy new family, Hamlet unravels a web of deceit and immorality that leads to the ultimate crisis of conscience. Recommended for ages 12+

Theatre Heritage Tour – Grand Opulence (Fri 27 Mar – 10:45am/12noon)

There is no theatre quite like the Blackpool Grand. The published descriptions in 1894 said so, and contemporary theatregoers agree. This is renowned architect Frank Matcham’s masterpiece theatre, with a long and lively history.

Madama Butterfly: Ellen Kent’s Farewell Opera Tour (Sun 29 Mar)

Back by overwhelming public demand, this award-winning Opera returns in a new production with exquisite sets, including a spectacular Japanese garden and fabulous costumes, including antique wedding kimonos from Japan. One of the world’s most popular operas, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly tells the heartbreaking story of the beautiful young Japanese girl who falls in love with an American naval lieutenant – with dramatic results.
