I will start of by saying that when I write a review I am normally better prepared and take my professional equipment.
This really was an unplanned last minute visit to what many consider to be Blackpool’s or rather Bispham’s finest Indian restaurant.
All I know is that every time that I have visited the Sunam I have always left feeling that I have had an amazing experience.
As you enter the restaurant you are greeted by very attentive and courteous staff. First impressions really do mean everything.
You are then led to a table that has the whitest table cloth that I have ever seen, my Wife remarked how on Earth can they get them so white..!
No wonder they are rated as a FIVE the highest rating that can be awarded to a restaurant for cleanliness and hygiene.
You are given time to choose from the very extensive menu and wine list.
We decided on the house red a very nice Terre Sicilliane 2016.
Our meal consisted of the traditional Sunam Pickle tray of which always goes down well with freshly made popadoms..
Starters consisted of Chicken Tandoori on the bone
Mains..Chicken Balti & Chicken Jalfrezi with a Garlic Naan Bread and Rice..
Every mouthful of food really was superb, I really cant rate this place any higher than excellent..
They do special deals Monday to Thursday and at weekends its full price, but you cant moan at all that for £53 !
They also deliver via Justeat..
Absolutely superb..
And as we were leaving because we used to be regulars before we started Marathon running they remembered us and gave us a Christmas gift..
Guys thank you so much for a lovely evening, we will be seeing you again soon..
Thank you for reading…
