I first watched Bucks Fizz back in 1985 for 10 nights as I worked at the Opera House in Blackpool..
I was a young lad in the pit dressed in black to prevent people from hijacking the stage..
Although it was an amazing experience, it wasn’t the original line up as Jay Aston had been replaced by Shelly Preston..
But..roll back the clock to April 4th 1981 to Dublin and the Eurovision song contest…
Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolen, Jay Aston and Bobby G…
The original line up appeared for the first time in Blackpool together..

It was amazing to see them perform after so many years, I think that its fair to say that a successful group is one that actually does stand the test of time..they have !
The sound and lighting at Viva is just first class..
Bucks Fizz are still superb today as they were back in the 1980’s..
A very good reenactment of that famous night in Dublin 34 years ago..except Mike Nolan struggled in ripping Cheryl Bakers kilt off..
