Four courses for under £20 !! I don’t know anywhere that offers such amazing value in a restaurant setting.
After our Easter lunch success at yum Level Six we ventured back to try the Easter Dinner Menu.
The Menu was superb. we went for the Haddock Fish Cake for starters with curry sauce and pickled raisins. It arrived promptly and the presentation was very impressive. The curry sauce and raisins worked really well and accompanied the Fish cake superbly.
Our intermediate course was Artichoke Valoute Soup with hazelnut. This was an incredible taste, my tastebuds were working overtime trying to take in all the different flavours and textures. And the presentation was very good.
For the main dish we opted for Braised Pork Shoulder, with black pudding, goats cheese dauphinois, spiced pineapple and savoy cabbage. Everything worked together very well, we really enjoyed this dish.
The final course of this wonderful meal a trio of deserts, Strawberry meringue, raspberry sorbet dark /chocolate mouse, lemon drizzle cake, once again fantastic , I have a soft spot for lemon drizzle cake and finished with a cappuccino coffee. These Students really do know how to cook and serve their customers. It’s a fabulous experience and these Students are learning their future professions very well. We hope to return shortly for more events.
Booking is absolutely necessary.
Thank you for reading and thank you to the Students and Staff at B&FC
