Night Riding at Blackpool Pleasure Beach 1/05/2021

Night Riding at Blackpool Pleasure Beach are listed as special events and only happen a few times each season. Its always worth just going and experiencing the unique atmosphere that you only really get at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Old and or Young the Pleasure Beach caters for every enthusiast.

We arrived at just before 7pm on Saturday to catch the last few hours, having already been a few times during the week we thought that it was only fair to let someones else have a go.. 🙂 . The Pleasure Beach was open from 10am until 10pm with 12 hours of smiles and laughter.

When we arrived everything was in full swing and the park was busy but every ride was organised and running very well, the ride operators had the ques flowing brilliantly and and with full capacity on the rides with very few empty seats. Claire the Ride Manager always visible with her finger on the pulse ensuring that everything is moving very similar to how the great Jim Rowland used to do it and a credit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

What I personally enjoy about the Pleasure Beach is that you font have to ride the rides all the time, we like to relax and ‘ Chill’ in the many eateries or bars, our personal favourite is Madame Crevettes as you can have a drink or 2 😉 and enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of this wonderful park.

The rides were certainly going well and I mention this because although the park was busy with good quality Covid 19 restrictions in place you still had a superb time and didn’t spend a long time in busy Ques as the rides just flowed flawlessly.

As Night time fell the Pleasure Beach changed again, riding these incredible rides in the dark was very much like the old days for me, the atmosphere really is something else.

My favourite ride has to be Icon, I was given a priority pass a good deed on the park by one of the Managers and we said that we would use it for the last ride of the day on Icon in the dark..!

For me personally it was first time that I have ridden it in the dark with all its lights on, I left the ride with the biggest smile, absolutely incredible experience.#

As we left the Pleasure Beach we did so in a very excited and giddy way having had just the best time, the Blackpool Pleasure Beach really is the jewel in Blackpool’s Crown and its 125 Years old this year so its very much part of the history of Blackpool..

Always nice to say hello to Stephen socially distanced of course 😉

Until next time and huge thank you to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on behalf of the Live In Blackpool Team.
